Creative Coaching & Mentorship

A structured, supportive space for artists navigating work, purpose, and direction.

What this is

This offering is for people in creative fields who want a grounded, thoughtful space to talk things through, get unstuck, and move forward.

The work is practical and forward-looking. Depending on what’s needed, it may feel more like coaching or more like mentorship. We’ll focus on creative life, decision-making, and building sustainable momentum.

This is not psychotherapy. It’s a structured, conversational space for artists and creatives who are functioning day to day and want support without being in therapy.

What we work on

  • Creative blocks and stalled projects

  • Clarifying goals and next steps

  • Balancing art with money, relationships, and responsibility

  • Decision-making around career and life direction

  • Motivation, follow-through, and structure

  • Handling rejection, feedback, and self-doubt as an artist

  • Building routines that actually support creative work

Who is a good fit?

  • This tends to work best for people who:

  • Are artists or creative professionals

  • Feel stuck, overwhelmed, or at a crossroads

  • Want clarity and momentum, not analysis

  • Are stable and functioning in daily life

  • Want support without being “in therapy”

How it works

  • One-on-one sessions (45 minutes)

  • Ongoing, with periodic check-ins to make sure it’s still the right fit

  • Sessions are conversational, structured, and goal-oriented

  • Offered by referral and word-of-mouth

What this is not

This work does not involve diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions, trauma processing, or crisis support. It’s not a substitute for therapy.

If it becomes clear that psychotherapy would be more appropriate, I’ll say so and help you think through next steps with a licensed provider in your state.
